The Union is open to surfing organisations, associations and federations of the Indian Ocean that wish to build the future of surfing in our region together.
Membership categories
Active members
National, regional or continental surfing organisations, associations or federations located in the Indian Ocean and recognised by their respective Olympic movement. Active members pay an annual fee and each holds one vote at the General Assembly.
Associate members
Other national, regional or continental surfing organisations that share the Union’s objectives and wish to take part in its activities.
Honorary members
A title conferred by the General Assembly on organisations or individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to surfing in the Indian Ocean.

How to apply
Applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors and approved by the General Assembly. To start the process, send us a short presentation of your organisation, its statutes and the contact details of its president.
